So yesterday was St. Marty's Day, if you're a Devils fan. Well I am, and it was also the anniversary of 552. I was at that game, and last night I was at the game. What I had to do to get to last nights game was nothing short of insane. I woke up that morning, in Rhode Island, considering the fact that I was on a little vacation.
I was just trying to get away from everything that I deal with on a daily basis, and every once in a while I just need to get away from everything. So I finally leave RI and I don't even get out of the state and one of my tires blew. I got that fixed and got back on the road, and dropped Chris off at this place in NY. At this time I have an hour and 30 minutes to get home so I can make my train, and well, I missed my train.
I get the next train and I get to the game just in time for the Devils to get there second goal of the game and finish the first period. I made my game, they won, and I had a blast. It was a great St. Marty's (Patty's) Day!
